Yeah, but we shouldn't expect new features past 4.28.2F or so. Which mostly isn't a big deal, but there are some BGP issues that are fixed in 4.29, and python/sshd/etc will start getting old. I have a few old (and even not-that-old) boxes that I can't ssh into because their sshd doesn't support modern ciphers, but that's probably less of an issue with EOS. Upgrading sshd is probably not *that* terrible. I mean, upgrading it is easy; getting it to survive a reboot probably isn't terrible.
In any case, please don't say "run sonic" as an answer. Sonic (SoNIC? SONiC? Can't remember which letter they lowercased this time) seems great, if you're running hundreds of identical devices and designed your network around it. For enterprise-y or home use, it's a giant time sink and just isn't worth it.

You can add obsolete algorithms back to modern ssh.

It should be newer than 07F, and I assume that it'd work on anything that 4.19.07F would work on. IIRC, all of the M releases are newer than any of the F releases for any given version of EOS. See Arista's EOS lifecycle documentation if you're curious about their numbering scheme.
Generally, there's only a single EOS image for all of Arista's devices, so if 4.19 is still supported on your 7010, then this would probably work.
I am on Software image version: 4.18.11M
For the 7050T-64 that I have. Since I am using them for basic switching. Not noticing any issues due to being stuck there.

I would appreciate a copy of 4.23.9M and 4.23.4.3M gets me a lot closer to my target version
There's a link posted in an earlier message about a page back or so which has some of these on it that you are looking for. Don't want to repost it because it will get too much exposure and might be removed, but go back a page and control f for arista-eos

Anyone have something that works with the 7170-CX64 ? I have just one and it is stuck at aboot. I believe it may need to start EOS-DPE
