Hi, pretty sure you can reset password via the serial console you just need to get the seiral to usb cable(https://www.amazon.ca/Console-Compatible-Opengear-Juniper-Routers/dp/B0CD5STJHQ)Hi All,
I did recently get couple DCS-7050SX-64-R. Those are running 4.28.10.1M software. Unfortunately, seller doesn't know password to the boxes (aboot is locked by password as well). Does anyone can help me with getting EOS 4.28.10.1M or newer. I will try recovery over USB.
If password is set on aboot - only full recovery works. I have managed to recover both switches with 4.28.13.1MHi, pretty sure you can reset password via the serial console you just need to get the seiral to usb cable(https://www.amazon.ca/Console-Compatible-Opengear-Juniper-Routers/dp/B0CD5STJHQ)
google: "reset arista switch password console"
As I understand you have full control on the switch, so my previous issues are not concern. 4.28.13.1M should work for you as well.Hi,
So how does this work what is the very latest firmware i can flash on the dcs-7050sx-64-r ? thanks you
No. QX2 is Trident2+ and the latest version is 4.28.X, like on their normal Trident2 non-plus counterparts (QX without 2)newer, if possible (does EOS 4.34.x still boot on these? ).
EOS uses honor based licensing. You don't have to enter a license for any feature I'm aware of.surprisingly, some features work without a license (MLAG, L3, sFlow, etc.).
yesWith a DCS-7050SX-72Q-R, the last supported EOS is 4.28.x?

that's not a licensenon-arista transceivers.
okay, fair. You also have to enter a license if you want BRCM_STRATA_SW or CloudEOS.License is required for MACSEC/IPSEC
7050QX-32 -> 4.24 maxHi all, can anyone confirm what the latest version of EOS is for a 7050QX-32? From what I can tell the device is locked down to use 2GB images even if your flash is bigger.
