Please see
for a consolidated thread
This one is kept for reference and discussions.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since I decided that scaling up will do me no good the logical conclusion is to sell all the excess stuff which I probably won't use anyway.

Today we have a bunch of switches. I know those go badly here so not putting too much effort in it initially.
O/c if anyone is interested in actual pictures, power consumption, or whatever I am happy to provide it.

At this point I'd prefer shipping to an EU address only.

1. Celestica Seastone DX010

These are 32 port whitebox switches running Onie as bootloader. A fairly wide range of supported Network operating systems. Most regular ppl would probably be running SONiC since its free.
I have two of these, one currently running SONiC, one an expired OCNOS trial.
Will come with rails iirc, barely used.
Power consumption >100W, noise is bearable after boot.

Looking for €600obo.

2. Dell S6100 2U Flexible layout switch
This one is a 2U switch with 4 replaceable modules. Currently I have one module installed (4 ports of QSFP28 and 4 ports of CXP; Ebay US has a seller offering the 40Gb/s modules below $50 ea.
Runs Force 10 OS 9, unfortunately no SONIC support except for the 64x40Gb/s release, but of course if you're handy with a script, SONiC is available on GitHub to roll your own modification :)

This one is registered to me and should still have warranty (would need to check how long), o/c we can transfer the warranty to the new owner. Dell was quite helpful and verified that this switch is not affected by the C2000 bug.

Looking for €600 obo.

O/c I also have a bunch of 100G cards and cables I am happy to sell with above switches.

Will be listing lots of other stuff whenever I get around to it (chassis, boards/cpu/mem, (mostly sas) ssds, sas3el2 2u backplanes etc).

nice stuffs.

My home lab is too small for having any benefit (regarding the cost) to jump on the 100Gb.
I already had difficulties to saturate 40Gb links

But for real networks theses switches are awesomes.

Some updates on pricing
Willing to negotiate or potentially trade for a nice GPU or sth like large SN260's (high dpwd version)

I wanted to say no, but it actually mentions multigigabit performance on the datasheet...so let me test that

Had to jump through some hoops to get there but it does not look like it actually will do BaseN

This is assuming a ubiquiti poe injector does not limit network performance to 1G, but I guess its not an active component.

Sorry

Posting to non EU is certainly possible but will incur extra cost due to tax processing (probably all in all 10% extra) so probably not worthwhile. But of course you can use a freight forwarder yourself, ShipITo has a location in Austria for example...

Still got them, open to negotiations :)
Got a Mellanox SN2700 running now, so even less use for these...

Doesnt really make sense unless you want to trade for the 8 port 100g one which i doubt;)

Sorry

Else it probably would have to be so expensive that i can basically hand out the switch for next to nothing, so probably not what you had in mind

Yup, exactly, that's what I want to do. Shipping will be less.

Ah I dont think that will work - I dont think I have a chance to sell an empty switch for close to the difference.

Unless you manage to find a prospective buyer? or somebody here raises a hand?
