These cards are old technology and will likely have a high power draw.
SFP+ will have lower power and latency and you can go that path cheaper with Mellanox.
10G RJ45 tend to be your only choice for existing cat-5 cabling and depend on distance and other factors

I should warn people that 10G RJ45 cards are spec'd for Cat-6 which is not in most homes. You can often get 10G to work on cat-5 over smaller distances in the home. Test it and see what kind or error rates you get. I am running 10G Aquantia cards over cat-5e in the home.

I said cat-5 in prior post but mileage varies depending on your wiring.
Also, the power draw does not make sense for a low power server options.
