This may sound odd and perhaps viewed as pointless for some... However, I am a bit eccentric with my rack servers and tend to gravitate to "unique" ones for my homelab. I have a GSA T4 (Dell 720xd) and I was curious if the chassis was compatible with the R730xd mainboard. The objective is to upgrade to a Xeon E5 V4 "L" series compatible for more cores, DDR4, and power/thermal efficiency. I may or may not go down this path but was looking at options to upgrade while retaining the uniqueness of the GSA box.
