For sale:
Dell R630 10-bay server

  • Bought this for myself with plans to get more for a cluster, never got around to that
  • Selling 'as-is' because I have not personally tested it, never bought hardware for it, the internals all appear to be un-damaged however the front-right where the ear is of the chassis got a little bowed in but you should be able to still fit drives there without an issue (see pics in album)
  • You will need cabling for the HBA. Dell P/N 5DP9R ~$20 on ebay or so
  • It is the 10 bay variant which means you can use all 10 for SAS/SATA or 6 SAS/SATA and 4 NVMe (U.2) with the proper add-in card.
  • 10 GbE/1GbE network daughter card
  • x2 750W PSU
  • iDRAC Enterprise
  • ProSupport • Expires 04 MAY 2022
  • Price: $300 $200 local pickup only

x2 FusionIO 1.2 TB PCIe SSD / App Accelerator sold
  • 1.5/1.3 GB Read/Write
  • Endurance: 16.26PB
  • Life remaining on each: 100%
  • $100 shipped/ea, can't really offer a better price on if you buy both together

x2 Intel P3700 400GB U.2 NVMe SSD
  • 2.7/1.08 GB Read/Write
  • Endurance: 7PB
  • Life remaining on each: 100%
  • $80 shipped/ea
Dell server is local pick up only in SE Houston area, the rest I can ship. Please PM me with any questions.

If my employer pays shipping for the r630, will that work for you?
Yeah that's fine - however the main problem as usual with these is I don't have any boxes for it. I can take it to a FedEx and have them box and pack it if that works though as part of the cost.
