I'm new to using actual server hardware, but I've bought myself a R620 server to use as an esxi host. Everything is almost setup, vm's are spinning.
Now I added another SSD, looked in iDRAC and it's there, only I can't seem to find it anywhere in esxi. I allready read somewhere, that you at least have to make a virtual drive, to let esxi see the drive?
Therein lies my problem: Is there a way to add a drive to this system, create the virtual drive, without having to reboot the server each time I add one (or more) drives?
