I have a Dell 1600w PSU (D1600E-S0) that cuts off when a load is applied. The max draw for my load should be 900-1000 watts max.
When it turns off, the plastic handle by the power plug is lit by an orange LED instead of the usual green. After that, it's a slow orange blink.

Can anyone link an error code manual or something?

It means the power supply failed a self test and you make a service request via Dell

For future reference, the diagnostic light codes are described just above the wattage on the large label. Take a look, you should see it there :)

Thanks @RolloZ170 I'm definitely on 240v.
You plug this in with just a CPU and motherboard on it on 120v and that fan starts screaming. You know when these aren't on 240.
