Ultra-dense server like Dell PowerEdge C6100 is good. But i also got interested in more # Cores proc and Ram its big brother Dell PowerEdge C6220 & C6220 II.

Theres already C6220 in eBay for $1499 barebone w/ 10GbE but theres none yet for C6220 II.

I wonder when there will also C6220 II show up in eBay. What i like with C6220 is its more power efficient and it has more cores and memory. It can support up to 24cores (using 12core proc) and up to 512mb per node. This is nice for virtualization.

Good thing with C6220 is its 10GbE for storage in Cloud.

I wonder if theres already vendor for this barebone and can also provide procs, ram and new hdd/ssd.

Anyone here already using this ultra-dense servers? reviews?

There were a few years between release of Westmere and Jaketown. I think we'll start to see C6220 style servers coming off lease in large quantities starting in early 2015.

Don't forget that the $1499 server is bare bones, you will be spending quite a bit to fill it out as the c6100s are. I tried to build good configs as part of my mega cheap cluster but the costs to get current CPUs and RAM were really high.
