For those looking to get some Infiniband DDR cables, these have just popped up for me and explicitly state DDR (20Gb/s).

Why, oh why do they always need to be so excessively long I pride myself on a rack that's full of proper lenght cables. I could cope with 1-2m, but 8m? I could wrap them around the rack a few times Still, good find for the price. Just wish they'd have shorter ones for cheaper!

Yep saw those but they are listed as 10Gb/s so presumably only SDR. Personally I have been after some DDR cables to pair with DBAs switch when it arrives.

Descriptions for the cables don't seem to be very clear usually. Is 10Gb/s SDR or 10Gb/s with IoIP and can 10Gb/s IoIP cables be used for 20Gb/s native IB ?.

Being that this is a technology I am not too familiar with I tend to go for the cables clearly stating DDR .

For 10Gb/s there are lots available.
