Hello everybody!
We've an aged but still functional Dell ax150i storage that I'd like to use for testing and educational purposes. The problem is that we only have the first 4 system drives with the flare OS left (250GB SATA versions).
As some know storages like this one do not accept non certified replacement drives. But those drives are either very expensive if new - or if used - it's like gambling to get some that do not scratch at the MTBF... and they're still expensive.
So has anyone figured out how to modify common consumer/enterprise SATA hdd's to get them accepted in this storage?
Regards
