And have 4x10G ports, and 2x40G ports... For $250-ish.

I don't understand your point. They are both PoE, managed switches. So... Same market.
As a matter of fact, the Netgear you linked is to vastly inferior in performance, specially InterVLAN routing.
And, it's more money. You can get 24 port versions of the 7450 for a lot less than the 48P I mentioned.
