looks like @hlhjedsfg is building a nice virtual environment. :)
    s3700 , 10Gbit :)

as switch i can suggest to you : CRS317-1G-16S+RM from Mikrotik.

16x SFP+ 1x Gbit RJ45 , dual redundant power supplies and passive cooling

hopefully small 3 node ceph will perform close to what is expected....
Dell x4012 is also a sound switch for small setups, but with 3 nodes i'd go the mesh route...

@zeynel Yes I try ! But the EU prices are usualy higher ! I will post my lab build soon.

The Mikrotik seems very good AND cheap. Never use this brand before. But I think I'll give a try when I got the money.

@_alex I'm not expecting anything because it just for lab, but if you said that, do you had bad experience with small ceph cluster ?

And yes for now, I will use mesh connect. But later, I would like to have switch and more host connected.

    Thank's for your informations !

@hlhjedsfg no, but after watching here and on other places what people experience i wouldn't consider ceph for <5 or even 7 nodes. but curious to read how it goes for your setup.
