(DEAD) Lenovo Tiny PC - great for HTPC - $349.99

Found a nice gem while browsing for a client. Great specs to use as light use workstations or a full blown HTPC in and around the home.

They are Thinkcentre M700 Tiny PCs (VESA mountable):
- i3-6100t
- 8GB RAM
- 128GB SSD
- Dual DP output (no VGA)
- W7Pro preinstalled + W10 upgrade
- full 3-year Lenovo warranty

6 remaining at the time of this post.
I offered $325 and he countered with $335 - enough to pay for the (separate) VESA mount!

EDIT: The price is now $499 and only shows 1 remaining in stock.

you can get the specs from newegg except with 4GB ram not 8
but you get a 500GB SSD for $400.

the 10HY0020US is actually a 500GB HDD, not SSD.
So, you're at $50 more for half the ram and a spinning disk.

I guess neweggs specs are misleading.

as for ebay reviews, it is difficult to judge.
I had great experience with sellers whose review were ehh, and terrible experience with sellers who head stellar reviews.

I just prefer dealing with more reputable dealers than ebay, if the price is not drastically different.
no if ebay had this for under $200 I might think about it a bit more

@vl1969 your Amazon link is for the 10HY001TUS model, and still states 4GB ram only. On top of that, it is not sold by Amazon, but by registered third party sellers - that's not any better than eBay.

Both eBay and Amazon sellers can be hit or miss, you can't judge a deal based on that alone. The bottom line is, for gray market, this is a good price for the specs provided.

If you want a truly reputable dealer, be prepared to pay a more typical price range of $430: Lenovo ThinkCentre M700 10HY0021US - Core i3 6100T 3.2 GHz - 8 GB - 128 GB Tiny PC-Newegg.com

Regardless, I placed an order through eBay at $335, or 22% off - pretty decent IMO.

hey, I am not arguing with you or your choices, just express my opinion.
also Amazon Listing says 4GB but the specs says 8GB ram.
not sure what the difference in models though. spec-vise it looked same if you read the spec listing not the header.

and believe me I had my share of ebay shopping jewels.
just 2 weeks I got a pretty descent deal on Samsung Note 4 and accesories.
T-Mo wanted over $400 it, I got it for $260. yes I still spend over $300 for all the things I need with it, a case and screen protector and couple of chargers etc. but than I would have to get them anyway. so that was a significant saving for me. so been there , done that

No worries. Lenovo uses dozens of part numbers under a single model banner so it is easy to get confused. I researched the exact spec I wanted and searched based on that specific part number (10HY0021US) to find the deal.
