The price is decent (great if they are actually new), but you should be able to get similar pricing on used modules from U.S. traders; Faster shipping and less hassle if you need to return something.

After reading the sellers feedback, I would not buy from them.

You can get 1600 modules for $22 each and Samsung 1333 modules (similar to what you are looking at) for $15. I would go for those instead.

I'm not located in US but in EU. The "free international shipping" was attractive.

How cheap do you want? I purchased ....

Lenovo ThinkStation S30 Memory 32GB (8 x 4GB) PC3-10600R DDR3 1333 ECC Reg
on a Supermicro X9D series motherboard...

For about $80USD a while back. exchange rate has it up to 94$ now :(
Not terribly fast and only 4GB simms but that will put me at 64GB of ram for around $200USD.
I'll probably trade sideways/up for 8 or 16GB simms once I fill my slots.

There doesn't seem to be much of a premium on server ram between sizes.
Are you have a memory problem with your cpu OR are you having a memory problem with your motherboard? Some of the server boards will take just about anything you throw at them, thank you and ask for more. The retail boards or boards pulled from retail systems on the other hand tend to be very fussy.

Check the specs that your motherboard/BIOS combination support and go from there.

I posted on the problem at the following thread. Basically I have desktop ram that likes CPU1 and hates CPU2.
