i know ddr4 price is going down but i think those prices are too good to be true and they probably are
64g at $150 especially even if 2133 just seems too cheap, way to cheap. Something can’t be right.
USPS has the item now. Let's see what I get on Saturday.
For what its worth, nothing appeared fishy in the few emails I exchanged with the guy.
BTW, that 64G is an LRDIMM.

Even bring LRDIMM doesn’t really make it cheaper.
2133 speed makes it cheaper for sure.
If it’s all good then that is by far the best ddr4 prices I have seen yet for larger modules.

I just msg him and express interest in getting a few. Might dive into it.

Manubit, when does yr tracking say it gets here?

Paypal buyer/seller protection good enough if he takes paypal? I will obviouly not just western union the money.

I would really be interested in getting 8x of the 64gb lrdimm. both of my x10sra and z10pe-d16 can use those!

Saturday (tomorrow).

FYI, seller mentioned he was going to meet a customer in Los Angeles on Friday and may have all his RAM sold.

well, if those are real , at that price they should be all sold in 1 day if everyone knows about it.

Yeah I know right, the 64gb dimms at 150 is really good even for 2133, that’s about the price of 32gb 2400 speed

I recently purchased a stick from ebay (not received yet) and asked the seller if he had more of the same. He shared his RAM inventory and prices as below. This is being done with his permission. I'm only a messenger and will not be responsible for any transaction. Seller's email address is paul@cseconsulting.co.
Received my stick today. Exactly as described on ebay. Running in the system from which I'm posting this.

Well there we go, a new low benchmark for DDR4 rdimm’s

32gb 2133mhz - $85
64gb 2133mhz LRDIMM - $150

Certainly AMD and infinity fabric memory speed performance relationship is a reason why less people will tolerate the slower older modules but that is still really cheap.

Yeah I could have used some 64g but I was hoping for 2666 or 2999, even 2400 ok but not really desperate to buy 2333, just the same it was an amazing price.

ive been out of the loop for so long on memory speeds, seems like there are so many now.
I was just given 256gb ddr4 2400T memory...

is 2666 or 2999 that much faster?

The answer to that is ‘it depends’
Depends if CPU first of all supports the higher speed.
Then it depends if it’s intel or AMD, the AMD infinity fabric really needs the fast ram as that how it communicates internally between the different groups of cores, intel is less noticeable the difference.

Generally it’s like this...
E5 v3 - 2133
E5 v4 - 2400
Scalable v1 - 2666
Scalable v2 - 2999

But I would not hesitate at all for example to use 2400 in the scalable systems of intel variety if that’s what I had.

Be sure to test the ram thoroughly....

I got 2 dozen+ 32GB DDR3 LR and a little more than half worked, and some would not work at all in SuperMicro boards.

In the last 5+ years it's my first time running into sooo much problems with RAM :(

That is certainly good to know. I did not run into any ram problems with my 16gb sticks but I could imagine that 32gb sticks are more fragile due to their density.
