Found myself in need of some DDR3 4Rx8 ECC RDIMMs. It's kinda rare and pricey on eBay but I stumbled upon a deal on 64GB (8 x 8GB) for $85.00. Thought that was pretty good. It will arrive Friday, hope it's all good.

Wish these could have worked with the $18 inventec board I just got. Nothing to brag about, but ended up finding these 8GB DDR3 ECC UDIMMs instead at $22:

8GB 2Rx8 PC3-10600E 1333Mhz ECC DDR3 UDIMM - 10 left as of this posting.

I also forgot to triple checking an auction until it was too late to fix - so now I have 24GB of DDR3 ECC registered memory I want to get rid of. $30 shipped or I'd trade for a spare E3-1240v2 or better that's collecting dust...

24GB Kingston PC3-10600 1333mhz DDR3 KTD-PE313K3/24G

I'll just bough a huge load of 16GB Micron PC3-14900R (DDR3-1866) 2Rx4 ECC ram. Only way i was able to get it at a price point i wanted.
I wont need that many, so once I take out my qty needed ill be listing around 60-80 sticks for 25 each on my FS thread. Just a heads up in case anyone wanted to buy any.

I recently purchased a stick from ebay (not received yet) and asked the seller if he had more of the same. He shared his RAM inventory and prices as below. This is being done with his permission. I'm only a messenger and will not be responsible for any transaction. Seller's email address is paul@cseconsulting.co.

Seems like not a bad deal

16GB dual rank PC3L-12800R for $20.00 each
I almost bought these on Sunday but decided to go with a specific SK Hynix. The Hynix were listed on the approved and tested list by SuperMicro for 2 boards I have while the Samsung would probably work but were only listed for 1 of the 2 target boards. If I remember correctly these are 1.35V while many of the ones out there are 1.5V

64g at $150 especially even if 2133 just seems too cheap, way to cheap. Something can’t be right.
