DDR3 24GB DIMMs for $35

Never seen 24GB DIMMs before... but $35 is cheap for 24GB:

Edit: MB Manual says only SR, DR, and QR for LRDIMMs, nothing about TR

the photos show an HP part sticker, so there's some HP system that works with these... i just don't know how they will work with other systems. However, considering that DDR3 servers all have the memory controller integrated in the CPU... there's a chance, right? as long as CPU IMC will work with it?

Based on HP Partsurfer, it looks like it's used primarily in the DL380P G8 servers amongst a few others. Might be worth a shot?

I think I've seen 12gb DDR4 before. But didn't want to go through the hassle if it's not compatible. +The price/gb was comparable to that of 16gb at that time.

It's not a error. These are 24GB DIMMs. You can look up the part number on Samsung's website.

Price is good but no idea if they work in anything other than HP being 3R
