I almost caved in and bought the E3-1276v3 they had as well. At $279, it's not a bad deal. I just can't really justify spending that much on a CPU when I don't need processing power - I need RAM! So yeah, sorry to any Denverites out there. I pretty much cleaned out their stock.

Great for those that have a Microcenter in their backyard, but unfortunately I don't. All of the Microcenter great deals are always in-store only, so obviously their "loss-leader" marketing policy is paying off.

Still bummed the Santa Clara Microcenter closed down. I'd hoped they'd find another nearby location, but it would seem that Fry's (and maybe Central somewhat?) is too entrenched to make it viable for them.

I remember reading that they opted not to renew the lease there because the rent was too high ... Seems like that would be a regional issue
