I know this is bordering on necroposting, but I just want to thank @Kristian for doing the writeup on swapping fans in the DGS-1510 series.

Just finished successfully swapping to the Noctua fan on my DGS-1510-20 and boy did that make a difference!

So here is what I found out:

After opening the case I had a look at the mainboard.
On DGS-1510-28P I used a couple of noctua NF-A4x20 FLX 12V without adapters (so running at 5000 rpm).
It is like "summer breeze" comparing to stock "taking off helicopter" AVC DB04028B12L fans

All 3 wires needed swapping places, because the header is totally non-standard. Went by the original fans (red/black/white looking from the back of the connector)
