I wonder if these work with raid ? they are 16KB Page size (strip) but maybe you could OP down to 512gb (48% OP) and get some real life out of them.

Anyone use these in raid-1?

It looks like I missed the Amazon deal, but I see that these are $434 with free shipping on Newegg as a Black Friday special. I don't think I'll try these for RAID, but I do want one in an external USB case as my portable file server.

Amazon has been mopping the floor with Newegg. That Logitech 602 mouse was $65 on NE and this drive was on 2 hour special at NE for 10 more.

Wonder how many DBA just bought. It is a lot of raw and spare NAND with power protection and consistent performance.

ZFS has trim in FreeBSD, always an option.
