Saw this over on slickdeals.net. They aren't the fastest SSDs on the market but the two that I bought new awhile ago have never given me an issue.

Low $/gb. I bet these are a lot of the drives that had a firmware fail. Manufacturers prob have 1,000's of drives that they can flash and resell as recertified.

I bought 2 recertified M4 drives: 1 died after a few months. Bad deal IMO.

Only series of SSD I've had, other than the Intel 320 series 8mb bug, where I've had major trouble with reliability. Samsung or Intel for me.
