I am trying to get some help in identifying the proper version of this IBM OEM card purchased from this ebay listing. According to the description it is a ConnectX-2 QDR VPI card. The ESXi PCI listing reads: MT26428 and doesn't recognize it as compatible with any inbox driver. At this point I believe it's either an old firmware issue, or the altogether older incompatible version of ConnectX(1)
Also, the IBM part number is 81Y1533. All indications of that part # are of a CX2 part, but the PCI VendID isn't matching anything on Google.
My ultimate aim is to flash this to a stock firmware and go from there.
Windows 10 recognizes the card as a ConnectX-2 IPoIB adapter card, so that's a positive indication I think.
