2ghz base Xeon-D vs 2ghz base E5 v3 single core performance...

How close are they?

I am going to step out on a limb and say that they should be fairly close if both are clocked the same. One is a Haswell core and the other Broadwell so should not be all that different. Have not tested or seen clock to clock comparison myself so talk this with a grain of salt

Edit, just found this over on anandtech, looks like they are using a 1.8ghz E5 in this compare and the two are neck and neck
