Selling X440-48P PoE+ switches and WS-AP3825i 802.11ac Access Points. The access points usually require a controller and license to use, hence they are cheap, but I have flashed OpenWRT so they work generically and stand-alone. It's a bit of a pain to do, you need TFTP and console access and it's a bit finicky, but I sell them stock also if you want to do it yourself.

I also threw the WS-AP3915i on here, they are stock, but are 801.11ac Wave 2, and I can also flash them for a small fee.

Local sale is 55330, but shipping is listed.

I can flex if you want a handful of items, just message me your demands. Local pickup and cash can get the best deal.

NOTE: Some Extreme Networks switches you might buy from ebay are not reset or tested. Resetting is not trivial if they have the 2.0.2.1 bootloader as there is no way to reset without a factory recovery image (which they paywall). It is also harder to reset ones that were previously stacked. These switches are all reset to the factory settings (admin with no password) and I'll usually set the management port to 10.10.10.10 so you don't have to dig out your console cable to set it up from the web interface.

I should post that I received the purchase from @macdaddybighorn. The transaction was easy and quickly handled and shipped. Feels very well packed. I just haven't had a chance to even open the box yet.

The datasheet I found for the switches was from 2012. What's the date on the current OS/firmware? A lot of the older managed switches (multiple brands) have a painfully slow web interface. I get paranoid with anything from Extreme (or their acquisitions) due to licensing. There's definitely value in having them factory reset.

The WS-AP3825i is going for around $6.50 shipped (PayPal + eBay 180-day guarantee) in quantity 10. I just got quantity 10 of WS-AP3935i for less than $40 shipped. There's been a steady supply of surplus WS-AP3825i for at least 2 years now. The WS-AP3935i is close behind. If it weren't for OpenWrt, they'd go straight to E-Scrap. I suppose the Wi-Fi modules and aluminum back are worth something if you wanted to remove some screws.

The switches were mostly running 16.1 or 16.2 with bootloader 2.0.2.3. Some had 2.0.2.1 (no factory reset option) and I had to flash the OS manually with 16.2.5.4 that I happened to have here. I find the web interface is quite smooth, especially compared to some that I'm used to like the old Cisco ones or the Aruba S2500 (which I just removed from my rack). I didn't really use these much beyond testing, so I didn't play with all the features, but there were no license requirements for anything I wanted to do.

You are very right in that most extreme APs, without OpenWRT, would be scrap, which is honestly quite sad.

Guys I searched hours for he stock image for Extrem Network AP391x series , but I was unable to find it.
I need it because I am converting to OpenWRT and my console connection is broken on the AP.

Does anybody have access to the stock firmware for these AP family ? Any version would work for me, it can be extracted from Campus controller upgrade package
For example:
/var/controller/images/ap/AP3915/AP391x-10.51.22.0004.img
AP391x-.img and I want to get the stock vmlinux.gz.uImage.3912 for tftp boot.

I would greatly appreciate when someone could help me out, it is bothering me that the AP is on my desk, almost ready to be used with OpenWRT and this 10mb file is stopping me.

Thanks in advance!
