Hello, Do you want to unlock GODMODE for storage? Than buy 84 SSD's at a huge discount!

I have finished my SSD upgrade project and have a total of 84 new MX300 SSD's left over. This is an insane amount of drives but I have used almost 400 total in the project.

Bulk selling discount as these drives retail for over $100 each.

Bulk NEW in BOX 84 x 275GB Crucial MX300

Willing to sell in Bulk of 10x or more after 9/1/17

$6,500 (As always I'll include a free gift)

Can you share your project and why you needed so many?
3 part project. Around 120+ SSD's went into two Dell boxes for a storage project. (spares+). Around 200 went into laptop/desktops. Lastly about 25+ went into RAID's for SQL.

When you order 500+ drives.....it doesn't seem like that much.
It's 17%, seems like a pretty good sized number to me! Curious, did the scope of the project change or was the price per unit at 500 each that much better than at 416 that it was the frugal move?

I plan most projects with more flex than 17%. If you saw how many RAID cards + 8TB drives I have you might think I was crazy, if you think 84 SSD's is a lot. Then again I deal with storage sets in the PBs.

I guess that's how all my projects go...I've got extras or spares, as I always do the same, plan for the unexpected.

The SSD's in bulk gave me a little discount but mainly, I'm just recouping my costs.

That's the way to roll! I always got flack if I went over 8% or so. To be fair, the largest one I did was a 6m project over 3 years. 85% of the asset acquisition was at the front of the project, but still trying to come in at or under 8% was tedious. Of course that number also included IT support payroll and other goodies besides just hardware.

Craash my man! I feel you man, my biggest was around 3m for a Hitachi SAN but didn't have to really factor IT overhead costs as they were soft-costs already built into my budget. I think my highest % my CFO looks at is not hardware but soft-costs of my employees hours/salary or 3rd party. Overall, I'd say I plan for the future and usually I would use these SSD's but the project has come to and end and we are shifting to a different design. (NVME)

$80 each for these is a great deal and if anyone is looking for smaller bulk amounts please PM me.
