You had a bad experience, of course you have a right to post about it and make everyone aware.
Of course I can.

But, you can't spam every thread nihonjin starts.
Of course I can.

I'm also getting spammed, both in my Inbox and on this Forum, about Posts & Threads made by Unreliable Seller.

So of course I need to push back against his fake Advertisement.

He does NOT get to waste me 2 Months of my Time, cause me to lose other Deals in the Meantime, then cancel the Deal we had, and walk away freely.

He could've just added what I stated into his Signature but he chose NOT to :p .

As I wrote above, we all know the risks of buying online from what are effectively strangers, and you telling us about your experience does affect our decision to buy, or not, from nihonjin, but you need to let people make their own decisions.
Sure, you take your own Decisions. Maybe it works for the next 10 Years. Or maybe tomorrow unreliable Seller shows his true Colors to you as well :p.

I trust that if the admins thought there was a serious breach of trust here, they would take action against nihonjin.
There are plenty of People in the Government that believe our Time is free. Tax Agency ****** for one. Just because they think it's normal, doesn't mean it's OK.

They haven't, and that also affects our decision to buy, or not, from them.
I don't want to start 1000% derailing the Topic of this Forum but that's the same as you putting your Trust in the assessment of the Government and assuming they are NOT corrupt or don't ever make mistakes :p.

I do NOT want to insinuate that the admins on this Forum are corrupt or make mistakes, far from it, I'm just stating an obvious Point in which your blindy trusting a higher Authority, and that also comes with some Risk.

I bought 1tb of ram from this seller in 3 differents order (4 sticks, 4 sticks and 8 sticks - you know how it is never enough...). Everything was always flawless, as it always was for me on this forum.
That's similar to my Experience ... until it wasn't any Longer.

On the last order, a stick of ram was not working properly, it was exchange without any issue.
Interesting to know. So he insinuated that the faulty DIMM I received was caused by the Danish Customs Authority Inspection and NOT by his improper Packaging. Seems like I'm not the only one receiving faulty Stuff then :) .

it was exchange without any issue.
Minus a lengthy Return at my own Fees and a couple of Hours wasted due to him saving a few Minutes instead of taking the proper Care to package Stuff properly.

I will bought from him without any doubt. For me everything was handle professionaly.
Until he doesn't anymore, like in any personal/professional Relationship.

I usually don't spend time arguing on Internet as it is useless, but sometime, like now, I use my keyboard for giving some facts.
Me neither, but some Things cannot be forgiven.

He made me lose 2 Months, I don't have the DIMMs, and now I have to waste Time again trying to find a RELIABLE Seller that isn't a Scalper like most People on eBay are .

In the Time I'll just use the 32GB DIMMs I have already but I have better things to do than to play Tetris because I need to build & dismantle Systems and moving Components between them because somebody did NOT honor the Deal we had !

Cheers :).

Glad to sell to any user (but one) and help if there is any issue. Glad to help replacing/solving any issue (as I did with the one who doesn't have a proper life to live and is wasting time harassing me in this thread).

Sorry to be rude but I'm tired of this nonsense.

The crybaby issue is that he doesn't know how to respect other users, and when they ask him to respect their privacy, he doesn't know when to have his mouth shut (because... paranoid??). Anyway, no issues with any other user in the forum at all, and till the one crying in this thread non stop (let's call the buabuambulance to pick him up), it has been a real pleasure.

If you want respect, respect others. If not, you will not get those RAM modules and processors you were going around for months without buying/paying and abusing the kindness of the seller (me).

i wonder if the Hynix HMAA8GL7AMR4N-UH 64GB modules would work in a Asus Z10PA-D8?

I'm currently running 4x 32GB M393A4K40BB0-CPB 2133 rdimm's, and i must upgrade to 256GB. I want to spend as little money as possible on this old platform.. Adding 4 more of those same modules would cost about 100-120 EUR

But been thinking about changing to 2400 rdimm's, and maybe upgrade the 2x 2680v4's to 2697's

HMAA8GL7AMR4N-UH are not listed in the DIMM QVL list, but it does list other 2400 64GB LRDIMM modules

Anyone have a clue if they would, or even probably would work?

edit: comparing to the samsung 2400 64GB lrdimm's in the QVL, these have the exact same voltage and timings:

  • CL 17
  • TRCD 17
  • TRP 17
  • 1.2V
So they should work?

I have the Z10PE-D8 and I successfully put 4 sticks of 64gb PC4-2666 (1 CPU). It works.
I use 8 sticks on a supermicro x10sra without problem too.

But they run at 2400 right?

edit: sorry for stupid Q, but just want to be sure..

I don't understand your comment, seller has no 2666 64GB modules for sale
You are saying the 32GB 2666 MTA36ASF4G72PZ-2G6E1 work on the Z10PE-D8?
Or are you saying the Hynix 64GB 2400 HMAA8GL7AMR4N-UH work on the Z10PA?

Sold all the 64GB 2666 modules already and yes, 2666 modules will work at the max speed your xeon v4 support, in this case 2400.

DM me if you're interested in :)

I only get 64gb 2666 sticks. They are not officialy supported, but that usual : not every inventory can be tested by a manufacturer. On my case, I use the sticks on 2 differents Asus board and a Supermicro and everything work like a charm !

Where are you based, (I assume UK as prices in pounds) can I collect?

Interested in at least 8 x HMAA8GR7AJR4N-XN as I believe these are validated for my motherboard H12SST-PS

Thanks
