I asked this as an aside at the end of another thread, but didn't get an answer. So I'm starting a new thread since I'm about to order one myself.

The only difference I've been able to find is the SG500 series is stacking. But I don't have any personal experience with either.

Does anyone know any other differences between the SG300 and SG500 series?

SG500 units in the SG500x models also offer 10Gig capacity at least for uplinks, those are the key differences between them and the 300 as they're both layer 3 switches.
