I’m interested in picking up a second-hand relatively SFF PC capable of running psense and taking a 2x 2.5gbe NIC. I’m curious what I should be looking out for and whether folks have a PC they’ve been using for a similar build that they like for this. Thanks.

You could always buy one of those chintzy Topton boxes, but if I was on a budget I'd go for a Lenovo M720/920Q as they can be bought off Eaby for under $150 with some support remaining.

They have a single PCIe slot so you can add a 10Gbps card and then use a copper transceiver like the MikroTik S+RJ10 to get 2.5G if you really want to downgrade to those speeds :)
