$ 12.00
$ 14.12 - 0%
$ 18.35 - 30%
$ 21.18 - 50%
$ 28.24 - 100%

What does this mean?
Only 2 available. I'd like to apply for the 100% discount by buying multiple.

But with Chinese hardware I'm always afraid it will deep-fry my hardware.
I would now pay $7 for a certified iPhone cable instead of $2 10 years ago for a cheap imitation.

How do I know this is quality? I wonder the same about a product like this:
www.ebay.nl/itm/172710616295

e.g., I just bought the E3-1265L v1 for my HP Gen 8 for $65, but now I see it's not even at Intel.com, Intel Ark or at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Xeon_microprocessors.
Apparently they were just sold as part of systems. (I think)

I bet these cards are made in the same chinese factory by the same 2 year olds who make the funtins. I used the chinese videop capture cards and they work great especially b/c they don't obey HDCP so i can use hdmi cables. So all in all i've been pretty please with cheap chinese hardware.

It's hard to guess who makes them yeah.

I had a Chinese colleague next to me who regularly showed me Chinese news. They sold Chinese children helicopters that had way too much power. Seeing the video of thing go up was amazing. No way that power would've been legal for a legal drone even.

My last Gearbest order I paid extra for tracking, but they had no idea where it was. So they offered to pay me back half of the $35, because I didn't have insurance. I started a Paypal case for the rest of the money:
After a careful review, this claim has been decided and is yours
1.18 EUR credited to your account.

This is the maximum amount for PayPal. If the amount of the claim was higher
than the refunded amount, the rest must be paid by the seller.
We will do our best to collect the money from the seller.
Not sure I should just call Amex or if that will get my Paypal account blocked.

I love the Xiaomi products though, nice domotics too.

Have you tested them yet ?? I need to get one and would rather sped 15buks compared to 50 for funtin.

Not yet, will try tomorrow.
one of the two had some manufacturing issues (minor solder blob on the gold contact) so i guess you get what you pay for.
Will let you know once I've tested them.

Ok, just ran a quick test.
3 different adapters, 3x P3700 Intel 800 - one Intel, 2 Fujitsu's. Not sure which adapter was which, just wanted to establish that they are in the same ballpark.

One drive per column, 2 result rows per drive

As a side note, got one adapter recently which does not need an additional power supply , if thats interesting for some:

Did you use the intel drivers? And if so can link to the exact one you used? I may try the intel drivers again on the P3700.

I'll need to check. This is an ages old installation.
Edit: Nope.

Edit 2: Just installed the latest intel driver and will rerun (one drive with cheap funtin currently installed)

Run 1: - actually got worse :eek:

Run2:

Not sure how consistent CDM results actually are :/

@Rand_ do you have to use the additional sata power on the $12 adapter ?
I know using the funtin adapter no power adapter was necessary.

Have not tried without. Tried without once on another brand and didnt work so always used it since then.
Thats why I was happy to find one without (as linked above).
Can try tomorrow if I dont forget;)

I tested the adapter with Intel P3500 and P3600 SSD , no external power needed.

I'd agree it runs without power but ...

(Not sure thats accurate, had a weird effect on mstsc, but shouldnt impact that much...)
