GoodTop is recommending I try a 12V2A power adapter. I really don't think that's the issue. Your heatsink replacement process seems like a bit more than I'm willing to undertake, but I may consider at least finding a slightly bigger one than the original.
Yeah i get carried away
I already use a 2a PSU on mine actually i think its 2.5 i left another psu there when i replaced the switch its from a QNAP QSW 1108-8T that got retired

Keep an eye on the packet counters, seems thats the only sure way to know if the switch reboots. My counters reset at 11am this morning again. Unless the counters reset once they hit a threshold, NFI.

I wonder if the excessive web logins used to capture metrics is causing instability to my switch? NFI really. I bought it on Aliexpress, so it seems I can easily process a return/refund. Have the packet counters reset at all for you @Shonk ?

@Shonk would you be willing to try running this switch with the included 12V1A adapter? I wonder if it has a big impact on stability. I don't know much about how or why this would be.
I'm running it on a 12v Meanwell PSU. works like a charm!

Just as a data point, My Mokerlink POE-2G08110GT (8-port 2.5G, 10G uplink, PoE, Managed) has decided it doesn't want to network anymore - It still provides PoE power to connected devices, but the power LED is flashing and there's no networking at all.

Testing the (external) PSU it's providing 52.6v (as it should). I've got a support message in with Mokerlink and we'll see what they do about it - There a few other reviews on Amazon with the same issue, and they apparently have issued refunds, and the device itself is no longer available.
