Anybody have any idea about the memory running at 2400 speed on new intel scalable and Xeon d-2100 supermicro systems

2 dimm types in mind...

Samsung 32gb 2Rx4 PC4-2400T
M393A4K40CB1-CRC4Q

Samsung 16gb 1Rx4 PC4-2400T
M393A2K40CB1-CRC4Q

Both are on the certified list for A2SDi C3000 based boards.

Wondering, just by chance my other supermicro systems run certified ram but would hate to buy new systems and find the ram I already have won’t work. Generally it should be fine and never had issues with ram but these new systems are only showing 2666 speed ram and that I certainly don’t have any of.

Not quite sure if I get you correctly:
Are you worried that DDR4-2400 won't work properly because Intel certifies their Xeon D-2100 lineup for up to DDR4-2666?

Not at that level as I know intel is fine, and actually some CPU only support 2400 anyway (eg silver 4110 -> 4114 which is what I am likely looking at), more a general question if you think there would be any kind of board incompatibility, so far and I don’t expect much to change supermicro are only certifying 2666 memory.

Thought somebody may have actual experience with intel scalable and that ram, it should be a common part number.
