Are there any differences between the RAM requirements for the DCS C6100s and the regular Poweredge models? I just ordered a C6100 from a vendor, that is the DCS model. It is coming with 96GB of ram, and I'd like to boost it to 128GB.

Which version of the C6100? If XS23-TY3 then you can use standard DDR3 reg ecc DIMMs.

Nehalem and Westmere CPUs have integrated memory controllers. Whether the C6100 is a DCS model or not should not make a difference. The nodes should all have 12 DIMM banks for use with DDR3 Registered Memory.
