Hi,
I need 8x Dual Port SFP+ 10GBe NICs for a project. I considered Mellanox ConnectX-3, but they're much more expensive than the QSFP+ counterparts and I haven't found cheap OEM versions yet.
Brocade 1860 can be bought for ~29€ per piece - Are they still good? aka will they work on Linux and do they have proper offloading features?
I'm also open for any alternatives in a similar price range. I have considered buying HP FlexibleLOM cards, but I don't think I'd be able to solder the FlexibleLOM -> PCIe adaptors properly.
