Thank you for sharing! That is a great result. 9.3gbps is close enough to 10gig for me.

There's Win2012 driver on the brocade site, should work on Win8 too, I'll try it on win8 when I get home and load the OS to SSD.

Like I said in my earlier posts, I got my cards with 10GBase-SR SFP+ modules. So I'm using them with OM3 Fiber for now.
Wow that is expensive... I was looking for a cable that will work that is $50 not $1300....

How big of a cable do you need? The Active Twinax DAC's only go 1-5m but are in that price range (or much less). See my earlier post for links.

Right but will those cables allow for direct connection between cards? I am still trying to figure out if you need a special cable or special configuration. Thanks

So... I don't really have any experience with FCOE or FC for that matter, but as I understand it, FCOE should be more efficient than ISCSI.
Thing is, I would like to use a HP microserver N54L, as some kind of SAN.

Question is, what does it take to use the functionality?
As far as I have read, it's possible to do FCOE in software, but ideally I want to use the card for as much as possible.

I'll let you know if they work when they get here. So far the cables are installed and happy with Win 7 and 8. Like s0lid, I had no luck with Ubuntu so far, and no love on FreeBSD.

Can someone confirm that these Brocade card and cables can work with other cards as well? I would like to direct connect a Brocade card to one I have in my Dell C6100.
