Do you have the twinax cable hooked up directly to the two cards or did you go through a switch? ThanksRan iperf between 2 centos 6.2 boxes with 9000 mtu.
I'm using point-to-point OM3 fiber.Do you have the twinax cable hooked up directly to the two cards or did you go through a switch? Thanks

Like I said in my earlier posts, I got my cards with 10GBase-SR SFP+ modules. So I'm using them with OM3 Fiber for now.Can you link me to the cable you have? Does it come in a twinax cable?
Wow that is expensive... I was looking for a cable that will work that is $50 not $1300....Like I said in my earlier posts, I got my cards with 10GBase-SR SFP+ modules. So I'm using them with OM3 Fiber for now.

Right but will those cables allow for direct connection between cards? I am still trying to figure out if you need a special cable or special configuration. ThanksHow big of a cable do you need? The Active Twinax DAC's only go 1-5m but are in that price range (or much less). See my earlier post for links.
one more question, do i only need this cable 58-1000026-01 23USD/pop ( suggested by MiniKnight ) to have a direct connection between those cards? There's Win2012 driver on the brocade site, should work on Win8 too, I'll try it on win8 when I get home and load the OS to SSD.
