Hi,

I'm setting up a aserver equipped with a Broadcom MegaRAID SAS 9341-8i , based on Ubuntu 18 4.15.0-142-generic, on an HP Z420 machine.
I configured the controller in his Bios setup for raid configuration and volume has been created but once I start the OS I don't see the disks.

I also installed the drivers for Ubuntu from Broadcom

dpkg -i megaraid_sas-07.716.01.00-2dkms.noarch.deb

At boot time I see those messages:

dmesg | grep -i raid

I tried to install megaCLI tool, but getting error in using it:
root@hpz420-nas:~/megaCLI# /opt/MegaRAID/MegaCli/MegaCli64 -AdpAllInfo -aALL

Exit Code: 0x00
Thanks in advance for your attention.

Note that on the same server previously I was installing a CentOS8.3 distribution facing the same issue. I then switched later to Ubuntu in the hope of solve it, but unsuccessfully.

Hello gproietti,
Have you solver your issue? I have exactly the same issue as you described.
Can you share your solution please?
