This is the switch in question:

S600W-4GT-1SX-1XGT-SE

After using the web GUI to flash the latest firmware from the Hasivo website, the switch no longer boots. The power indicator light blinks rapidly and the ports have no connection. Poking the reset hole on the unit has no effect.

I don't suppose anyone has any ideas for recovering from this? Any help would be appreciated. PCB photos attached.

Thanks.

Unpopulated header J2 just below the black heatsink might be a UART header - probably 3.3v TTL if I had to guess, with the two rightmost holes being RX and TX (or TX and RX). If you have the tools and knowledge to give that avenue a try, I'd go that route and see if you can get to a bootloader or something with some info. You may be able to load a fresh firmware via TFTP, depending on how much work they put into the bootloader environment.

I ordered a CH340C USB to TTL adapter to poke around with, but it's no longer necessary as Hasivo support got back to me in less than 24hrs with a Chinese language instruction video, which was not hard to follow.

For anyone else in the future with a bricked Hasivo switch: there is a recovery IP when the switch fails to boot. Assign a static IP to your PC's NIC, connect to the switch and navigate to 192.168.1.1 (default management interface is 192.168.0.1). A single-page firmware update GUI appears and lets you re-attempt the flash. Hasivo also emailed me the latest firmware file, which is a later version than the firmware published on their website. The switch is now working.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I have exactly the same switch and found the power LED blinking fast after a reboot of the switch today. Unfortunately, your workaround does not work here. Set the IP address of a laptop to 192.168.0.112/16 and neither http://192.168.0.1 nor http://192.168.1.1 are accessible. So no way to flash a fresh firmware.

Seems to be a more common problem with Hasivo switches not coming back to life after reboots or power offs and instead have the blinking power led - sigh.

If your PC's ip is 192.168.0.112/16 but the switch ip is 192.168.1.1/24 it will not respond because your PC is outside the switch's defined subnet(no route to host).

I'd directly connect the switch to a PC and wireshark the port just to see if there is any chatter from it. If so, you may get lucky and see its current IP. If I still didn't see an IP but it is talking I'd temporarily add its MAC address into the PC's ARP table as 192.168.1.1 and try the web interface again.
