i set mine to 100% scaling. the only time i did 150% was on a 15in laptop with 4K screen... lol

thanks for the review. The lenovo app does bring up a lot of additional features with the P32 monitor.

The replacement monitor arrived today. Again, there was some dust on the surface but it is probably from the cardboard during shipping. Easily wiped clean. No pixel defects that I could see. This monitor has no glitching. The seller informed me while we were messaging their staff tests and cleans each monitor. The other one probably had a marginal connection/component and shipping affected it.

Once I set the adjustments to match my other monitor the brightness, contrast, and fidelity matched the other. Color uniformity is also good according to my eyes. My LP2475ws had some color differences at the same settings. Maybe FW differences is the cause.

This monitor has the same FW version and OEM panel as the two originals. It has 220 hours of lamp use. The monitor that I didn't return had ~21 hours when I received it. It now has 200 hours (~20 days' use; I turn off the monitor when I put the system to sleep when I retire for the day/night).

I realized how convenient having a second monitor is during the interim. Many times I would be viewing a video or something and I wanted to do something else while it was playing. Sometimes I placed the video in a window filling half of the display. It sort of worked because of the higher resolution but not the same as having another display.

Has anyone determined a way to switch the usb inputs (USB Type-C > USB Type-B and vise versa) without using the lenovo app (windows only) or pressing the USB input select button on the monitor?

I'm able to switch the video input using DDC commands (ddcutil) without issue in linux, but have not been able to figure out switching the active USB input.

Thank you for this thread. I bought two of these in "Very good" condition for $199 each without stands from seller "UNITED PC TEK". They arrived in a large homemade box solidly packed with plenty of large bubble wrap, wrapped multiple times (4 or 5 times?) around the monitors. The monitors look and work great. They also sell "Grade B-" versions of these monitors for $159.

I work half from home managing PLM databases and PLM security deployment and need lots of screen real estate. Since the pandemic, I have been using a 43" 4K cheap televsion and two vertical 24" 1080p one on each side for email/IM, etc.

I now have one P32--20 horizontal and one vertical on a humanscale M8.1 MFLEX dual monitor stand and it works perfectly for my needs. I leave the horizontal at 100% scaling and the vertical at 150% scaling for email/IM.

Very happy with the setup

Thanks. I wonder how the B- ones look like. If they have no scratch on the screen or defective pixels, good enough for me... Lol.

Yeah 32in 4K monitors are better than 43 in TV in a lot of ways

Actually it was just a cheap TCL 43" 4K@60 television, but you can run at 4:4:4 chroma so it wasn't horrible. Text was fine. 43" was just too big sitting on the desk. These Lenovo Thinkvision monitors are about the perfect pixel density for their size and they are much better clarity and color than the TCL television.
