The replacement monitor arrived today. Again, there was some dust on the surface but it is probably from the cardboard during shipping. Easily wiped clean. No pixel defects that I could see. This monitor has no glitching. The seller informed me while we were messaging their staff tests and cleans each monitor. The other one probably had a marginal connection/component and shipping affected it.
Once I set the adjustments to match my other monitor the brightness, contrast, and fidelity matched the other. Color uniformity is also good according to my eyes. My LP2475ws had some color differences at the same settings. Maybe FW differences is the cause.
This monitor has the same FW version and OEM panel as the two originals. It has 220 hours of lamp use. The monitor that I didn't return had ~21 hours when I received it. It now has 200 hours (~20 days' use; I turn off the monitor when I put the system to sleep when I retire for the day/night).
I realized how convenient having a second monitor is during the interim. Many times I would be viewing a video or something and I wanted to do something else while it was playing. Sometimes I placed the video in a window filling half of the display. It sort of worked because of the higher resolution but not the same as having another display.
