This is a totally unnecessary step. He just has to follow my instructions to get it totally reset in factory default state. Then the user will be 'admin' and the password will be the print on the sticker. And it does not have anything to do with the VGA issue he seems to have. I have the same board here four times and always had VGA issues with the RAM not working with this board. VGA output is just black.
True, but I check many DIMMs and remembered that needs to plug in in blue stick.

I tried SN as the password in mac2password file but I get an error and the reset do not succeed.
These are two different things default PW from SN and 11-character string initiating reset, I understand that it is not commonly known from a security point of view.
you ran mac2password not from local-machine, if this realy works i start now searching for MAC addresses :p

Yes, I know that, I run from a remote machine, and I have a MAC address I also found static IP using Wireshark, and I get an error that password does not reset the incorrect content of mac2password file.

and I get an error that password does not reset the incorrect content of mac2password file.
content of mac2password.txt (included in the "server_utility_BMC_Restore_Default_Setting.zip"
Code:
1C:1B:0D:0A:BB:48,S16C79000042
B4:2E:99:25:DF:E7,S19C60900002
now you need to contact gigabyte and get the matching file for your purchased motherboard(s)

Guys what are u doing? I reset all the passwords for the used boards I have with the procedure I posted before. This was a 5min job for each board incl boot/flash/shutdown.

Edit: If u don't have VGA signal try a PCIe graphics card. Is the bios setting maybe set to external? If I'm not mistaken you can enter the bios from the BMC menue ...

and will not help if the unique password was changed
Ok.. so I need to add something to this thread, THERE is a possibility to reset the password and all settings remotely without access to VGA I just did it (you only need to know IP address).
I will not share this info for security reasons, millions of servers are based on this BMC so I will not dig a such huge hole in security.
The default password was different than MB SN (just to clarify that) and I did that without any Gigabyte help.

already known, but only on one vendor of firmware for the BMC (the BMC without FW is stupid)

This looks like a messed up BMC where a power cycle due to Over Current Protection (OCP) went totally wrong. Have seen this before. I believe it was an issue with VR as well.
