Best Bios setup for Energy saving on X9 series supermicro motherboard

Out of curiosity, does anyone track what their bios setup is like ?
I am looking to find the best optimized setup for energy saving as this is for my home lab.

Does anyone know if you enable all the energy saving features on the bios, will it cause the cpu to throttle down and unable to ramp up when there's load ?
