hello, sorry if there was some similar issue before but I couldn't find it when looking online (at least not something useful)
I've bought a couple of QL1Ks and a X11DPH-i from ebay with 4 sticks of supermicro X11SPL-F validated ram but when I try to boot I keep getting B7 postcode errors which here I read are memory related.
I've tried switching the slots and using only one or two sticks but couldn't get anything to work, I read online that there might be a BIOS issue but I cant even get to the BIOS to change any settings, flash a new BIOS or activate the IPMI.
The memory I bought was accidentally validated for X11SPL-F but I thought it should still work.
Links for the items I bought:
CPUs: Intel Xeon Platinum 8160 ES QL1K 1.8GHz 24Core LGA3647 145W Processor CPU 8011467806458 | eBay
Mobo: Supermicro MBD-X11DPH-I-B Motherboard Xeon LGA 3647 C621 Max.1TB DDR4 205W PCI 672042291656 | eBay
Mem: 64GB (4x16GB) PC4-17000P-R DDR4 ECC Reg Server Memory for Supermicro X11SPL-F | eBay
Is it possible it's the wrong memory? should it matter that much if it's validated with a slightly different motherboard (after all it's the same chipset and a very similar board)
Thanks,
Elad
