Hey all,

I have a PRAID EP400i controller, that doesn't work anymore!
I only changed something within the bios and after the reboot it stopped working.
During the boot process I get the failure message:
"Firmware did not find valid firmware image which matches NVDATA settings the controller. Please program valid firmware image and restart your system"

I already programmed the newest / current firmware with "storecli /c0 download file=242100151.rom" - but the message still appears! Additionally I cannot make any modifications in the controller bios - "Error Code: 0x3"

Anyone already had this failure and found a solution?!
(The card was within a Fujitsu Primergy TX1300 M3)

Hey everyone.

I have exactly the same problem as described above. My problem occurred when I wanted to switch the RAID option to JBOD on the card. Since switching, the card reports 'Firmware did not find valid firmware image which matches NVDATA settings the controller. Please program valid firmware image and restart your system.'

I can't reverse the operation due to 'Error Code: 0x3.'

I also tried updating the software to the latest version, but unfortunately, it didn't help.

I would be grateful for any assistanc.

What operating system are you using? This isn't an OS issue but trying to figure out what tool set can be used to diagnose.

What happens when you change from RAID to JBOD, the PCI ID of the card changes. If this ID isn't in the table of ID's in the firmware, then the card gets stuck. Kind of a dumb design, but it can be overcome. Can you confirm the vendor of your card?

Fresh installed Windows 10 - but tried it before with several other systems (Windows Server 2016, Knoppix, Ubuntu)

It is not possible to do any changes anymore! So I cannot check that... (I think the trouble began when I changed from raid to jbob...)

Hello everyone,
I have the same problem after switching to JBOD mode in my IBM x3750 M4 with the internal raid controller (ServeRAID M5210e).I can not change any setting regarding the controller and after starting the server an error appears. Did you find any solution to this problem? And does anyone know how I can flash the firmware of the raid controller?
I would really appreciate an answer. If you need more information please let me know.

Hi, I have the exact same problem since switching to JBOD. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? I can provide more info if necessary, but my show all looks already pretty similar to what has been posted here.
