So one more question on the Asus Pro WS W790E-SAGE SE ... regarding PCIe lanes.

The manual is written only for the W-2400/3400, and these have 64 and 112 PCIe lanes. All of which are traceable in the manual - the 64L cpu can feed 4x 16L slots and no M2, while the 112L can feed all the 6x 16L+1x 8L pcie slots and 2x 4L M2 ports too. All clear here.

Now what happens when we use a D0 server cpu with 80L ? do we get lucky with M2 ports and the 8L slot, or there will be just one more 16L slot activated ?

Does the W-2400 series monolithic chip have any idle power consumption advantage over the multi-die assemblies?

@RolloZ170 I've been searching this thread and I can not find info regarding using Optane Persistent Memory 300 series with this board and the QFYS chip.

I could have sworn I had seen it here that it does work. Any idea?
