So I finally found some time to play with this again.

Re-flashed the bios, and tried min to many peripherals, to see what would work, and what wouldn't.

So it seems I have PEX errors, and lots of them. The 5090 works again, but I can see PCIe PEX Errors Recovery Counter numbers. Like 46 for the 5090 (even pegged the 5090 to pcie 4.0 - Which improved the numbers, but I have PEX errors no matter what HW is installed it would seem).

3090Ti 19 errors
A10 (enterprise card reports very little to Windows Workstation) so sat this one out.

So did I managed to get a bad board?

As an aside, a buddy claimed my 3495X Xeon would game horribly, so I looked up his 7800X3D, and found I placed top 1% globally for 3Dmark's Steel Nomad DX12 and 5090.

Doesn't seem so 'horrible' to me:

Mybe i'm doing it wrong,BMC is latest and BIOS firmware is latest using QYFS CPU, On the bios menu, server mgmt i set DM_LAN Config address source to Static,station ip address 192.168.1.120(pool is from 100-200) subnet mask from router,255.255.255.0,router ip(same as router logins) router mac(set nothing) save and exit

static and IP within DHCP ? set DHCP instead. reboot, IP will be shown in screen at POST
with other PC browser enter:
https:/192.168.1.120
( change IP to real one )

That sounds like you have given it a static ip address that is within your DHCP range. Don't do that, pick one outside the DHCP range or the DHCP server stands a very good chance of handing that ip out to someone else.

OOH on the W890 sage side,why is it that the protective lid shows LGA-4677/LGA-4710-2 but intel on the other hand does not seem to want it to support saphire rapids or vice vesa

means it fits both.
it is the same socket frame. you can use same Cooler for 4677,4710
there is no special thermal paste for Sapphire Rapids, you can use any.

can make confusion. the retention mechanism of LGA1700 and 1851 is also the same, some seller think it is LGA1851 because written on it.
seen at Dell motherboards.

if you mean Granite Rapids SP models, no way.
GNR-SP = system on chip
GNR-WS = W890 over DMI4
but there are 48,64 and 86 core ES2 B stepping.

Any leads on where to find them? I'm still looking for a pointless but fun upgrade for the Q2SR. Seems like the faster turbo speeds would be better for my steam stream machine.

but it is very early, you can't even buy the Retail processors, only on order.
