Hello,
ASRock Rack X570D4U, Ryzen 5 5600, 16 GB X 2 Kingston ECC RAM, 4 X WD Red 2TB SATA HDDs, 1 new 2TB Intel DC P4510 in PCIe bracket. Running TrueNAS CORE.
It worked fine during testing and worked fine in production for a few days.
But overnight there was an odd "WATCHDOG error" then I keep getting spamming:
over and over and over, repeated every 30 seconds to 1 minute or so.
It's the IPMI rebooting constantly. It crashes, drops its virtual USB interfaces, drops its network connection, restarts, then establishes everything again, over and over.
This makes the IPMI useless since it never runs longer than 30 seconds-1 minute. The OS runs but it's filling up the logs and it pegs one of the cores when things get re-established, so there are constant load spikes.
I shut the server down and switched off the power, then reset the switch in order to reboot the IPMI. I also reset the BMC to factory default following this advice: ASRock Rack Aspeed Ast2500 BMC/IPMI Reset Fixes (American Megatrends) - Sick Codes - Security Research, Hardware & Software Hacking, Consulting, Linux, IoT, Cloud, Embedded, Arch, Tweaks & Tips! No effect.
Any ideas?
