I have been using Arista switches for long time and love them, a few years ago we purchased several Arista DCS-7170-64C and DCS-7060CX-32S, I prefer the first one since it has 64 100G ports instead of the 32 ports of the 7060CX-32S, and they don't use a lot of power. However, I have noticed a much higher failure rate in the DCS-7170-64C after a couple of years compared with the DCS-7060CX-32S.
Some of the problems we are facing with the 7170s are:
1) severe packet loss in devices configured in MLAG configuration with another 7170, replacing the unit solves the issues
2) stop passing traffic until we reboot them
3) stuck in aboot after a firmware upgrade, when I check the files in the flash folder the new images were 0KB in size
Is anyone facing the same issues with this model?
