Hi all,

As the question states, does anyone have experiences with connecting 100mbit equipment to the Arista DCS-7050S through a RJ45-SFP?

I am looking to aquire one of these since the lack of 100Mbps on the LB6M is a smaller problem for me. I have seen that fs.com has transceivers which will deliver a 100mbit link and the switch spec sheet lists it too. Has anyone tried this?

I don't know about 100mbit, but 1gbe sfp to rj45 transceivers work in the sfp(+) port.

It should work. You'll probably need to specify "speed sfp-1000baset auto"

@aero

Thank you, I will consider that. I probably won't be getting the switch right away but it's def. in the plans. :)

The 10/100/1000base-t SFP RJ45 module do work with SFP+ port on Arista 7050S, no problem.
