Are these Voltaire infiniband switches good?

I owned the Voltaire 4036 for like a week, it was too loud for home use. I also currently own an Lb4M. The Voltaire 4036 is noticeably louder than the Quanta LB4M. These things just arnt made for home use.

I also owned a Qlogic 12200-18 QDR IB switch. It was much quieter than the Voltaire 4036, but still not quiet. maybe on par with the LB4M.
