Thank you, just pulled the trigger and brought one as well as two 56Gb Active Fibres and a Supermicro 747TQ-R1K28B-SQ Chassis, my credit card won't thank me but they were doing six months interest free no repayments til EOPP and I just couldn't help myself. Well actually I could and I did. 589USD for the Chassis though was a steal.
Here in NZ it is, over here just the case with the trimmings and the dual redundents that came with this one 1280W Platinum grade cost $2300+GST new or 2645NZD which is 1734.10 USD. So to me yup - thats dirty dirty cheap. You can probably buy the blank chassis dirt cheap in the states but we are a little tinpot nation in the middle of nowhere and freight cost is a biatch. I already have the X10DRX to put in it.
Out of interest @BoredSysadmin what sort of price would you pay for this over there?
