I recently had an Optane 905P M.2 380GB drive die on me. So I went on the Intel website to check and it said that its warranty is still active. However, when I follow through with trying to place a ticket, it won’t let me and kicks me back out to the support page. I also went on the Solidigm website which didn’t even cover Optane drives. Would anyone know if I can still get support from Intel to exchange a defective product that should still be under its 5 year warranty? Or am I out of luck? Many thanks!

IIRC the Intel-SK Hynix deal on Solidigm excludes Optane. So you may have to remind Intel that they still own this storage product…

Try to send the problem to the email address (supportreplies@intel.com).
Many thanks for the email. I’ve sent it out and fingers crossed that they’ll reply. It’s funny that on the Intel website not only if I search using the SN# it shows my drive is still under warranty, but this site says that Intel still supports the 905P: Warranty Information for Intel® Optane™ SSDs and Modules

Surprising how they made the support site unusable if anyone files a request ticket for an Optane drive. I will update here if they reply.

Optane production was stopped q3 2022 for gen2/3 pmem and all storage devices...
First gen like 905p or p4800x productions was stopped earlier.

Even if it's under warranty intel probably won't be able to provide a replacement device.
